Mr. Big
Mr. Big shows
Mr. Big was in third grade when the Bob Braun Show came to the Victory Theater downtown. WDTN was providing the camera equipment. When I walked into the auditorium, I saw the cameras and knew at that moment I wanted to be in broadcasting. Fast forward to sophomore year at Northridge High School, I discovered the school had a student operated radio station! WGXM, 97.3 FM. I started as a board operator and eventually became the station’s promotions director. Since graduation, I have worked at Dayton Access Television (DATV) and freelanced for Speedvision, TNN and ESPN. I am a big pro wrestling and UFC fan. Married for 27 years to Jenifer and I have two kids. One is graduated and the other is approaching halfway through high school.
I love volunteering at Oldies 97.3 FM because I get to bring enjoyment to listeners by playing he same music I listened to when I was young. Some of my radio heroes are Lou Emm, Kerrigan and Christopher, and King and Dorsey.
